I needed a wetsuit last weekend with all the events I photographed involving people running, jumping, and swimming through various bodies of water. The Polar Plunge, part of a statewide event raising money for Special Olympics, brought out costumed participants who didn’t mind taking a dive in the chilly Deschutes River.
