Is it just me or are the days flying by of late? February’s long gone and the few recent hints of warmth suggest spring is almost upon us. Keeping with what seems to make up the bulk of my assignments, I shot mostly sports and events last month. Lots of basketball (scroll down for the finale), some wrestling, high school track and field, and whatever floating down the Portneuf River in winter qualifies as. Add in some weather photos, portraits, and a freelance assignment for the local hospital, and that basically sums up my month. I’m hoping to get a few more runs in on the slopes before the snow melts, and with the recent acquisition of some fly fishing gear, I can’t wait to get out and test the waters.

I’ve been following a lot of the news and images coming from Japan the past few days and am still awestruck by the extent of damage and the tragic situation now facing people there. My heart goes out to them.
