Thought I’d start off the new year with some photographs from a truly stellar wedding I shot over the past Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I’ve had the privilege of knowing and spending time with Nic and Stephanie for a while, and when they asked me to come photograph their wedding in Beacon, New York, I was incredibly honored and happy just to be in attendance. I really wanted to push myself to do some great work for them. Being surrounded by friends, family, and a fun and welcoming group of people made the task at hand a lot less stressful. Plus I brought along a ringer to help me out in friend and superb wedding photographer Todd Carlson. It was one of those rare weddings where you can’t believe how smoothly and on schedule things are going, a testament to the mad planning skills of Nic and Stephanie. Even Ohio State came through for the alumni and fans in attendance with a big win over Michigan. O-H-I-O chants were in no short supply here…
