Every month seems busy in retrospect, but I was all over the place in May. I feel like half the time was spent in the car, with long drives to cover graduations, state track, hummingbirds, the Osmonds, and an in-school field trip, as well as a short stay in Yellowstone. Since horse racing’s return to town last year, we seem to be out at the track every weekend in May. I had the unfortunate occurrence of watching a horse break its leg in a race and being put down shortly thereafter. I was hoping I could hitch a ride with some hang gliders, but I guess I’ll have to wait for next time. More from May:
