August has come and gone and it’s starting to feel like fall already. School is back in session and with it comes football season and a lot of late Friday nights. I didn’t end up shooting as much on the fair beat as I anticipated, but I’m sure I’ll be up at the State Fair a few more times this week. By far the biggest event in August was the selection of a local family for that Extreme Makeover TV show. It’s incredible how much production goes into doing one of those projects and the amount of volunteers that help build a house in only a few days. It’s also interesting to watch as the entire town gets sucked into the chaos.

I’m proud to say this month marks the one-year anniversary of this blog. Looking back, I think it’s helped me grow as a photographer and continues to push me to work harder. I hope I can say the same thing again next year.
